Start training for the race,
Fix what is in disarray,
Fight with what you have,
For there will be an end.

The other day I stumbled upon the repeat telecast of 跑吧！孩子 (Homerun), directed by Jack Neo. I had missed earlier telecasts and so I sat there watching like a curious cat. I started watching from the point when one of the main cast - the sister, was with her mother who in labourpains, needed the attention of the midwife who had dozed off across the other side of the village. Parallel senario - the brother was running a race with a very strong competitior.
The young girl raced over difficult grounds - part of which was scattered with glass chips, to get to the midwife; the boy got stuck in deep mud with many other runners passing from behind. Their common goal was similar - to run for the one they loved. In the end, the mother delivered, the competitor at race became friend, and they received their priced new shoes. What an impressive production.
I felt the need for me to take action - to do something, especially with what is ahead as a start.
