Lately, there are some questions which I find myself having to give answers for. The 2 most common and challenging ones are: 1.'When are you leaving?' and 2.'What will you be doing?' I realise that besides giving the possibility, the best answer I seem to have is, 'I do not know.' Perhaps the strangest thing is that it became a constant battle I have to feud within. Not that I do not try to find out. It seems like I am lost and is requiring of new faith. At times, I wished I can reverse or quit so that I can 'be in control' again.
An answer perhaps, Ash (Mum's loyal bah chang supporter and wonderful minister to the tenants staying with us) dropped by, as she often does. This time she asked the exact same questions and upon answering her, she prayed with me. Really appreciated.
'You asked when, when? It is now.' (Rev. Jane Lowder)
'Do not doubt. Go out in faith.' (Sis Debbie)

His Story
I used to get F9 grades for most of my tests and examinations under the subject, History. Even under the 'scrupulous' guidance of Miss Shirley Lau, one History teacher I will never forget. Many students had scored As with her, but me. Miraculously, I actually passed with a C6 for O Levels! It wouldn't be possible if without her. I had often found it a challenge to remember or memorise stuff, including lyrics.. Strangely, I recall minute details which surprise myself sometimes too.
For the past nights, I have been diligent in searching stuff on wikipedia and began to have better understanding as I traced back the people (leaders and organisations) and sources (of inspirations) who/ that had made great impact to our world today. They had held to/ originated and branched from a belief system as of the world's largest even till today. God, I hardly paid attention to these things that had always been going on! I was pretty 'blinded' myself. It was just head knowledge. There are too much that my human capacity can hold.

Success Seminar
Have been rather tied up with 2 projects for the past week or so. As I sat through today's seminar by Uncle Song and Uncle Patrick, I cannot but recalled the different people who had impacted my life.. people whose hearts are tuned to God - Sis, you're one of the very first. Thank you for teaching me to sing that very first song we both am so familiar with. :)
The song selected for me to sing at the end of the seminar, to my surprise, was the one sung by Faye Wong:
Nathan Wong
7:30pm, heard Zhang Bo Li personally.
I am really looking forward to hearing Jane Lowder at camp this year. :)

Cycling at Pulau Ubin ( ACTS - OCSF )

Photo (from left): Xiao Liu, Mervyn, BingXing, SunHuang, YingXi, TianSheng (Taylor), ZiLi, WuNan, OuYang WenJing, XiXi, YongLiang, Genie, Dawn, Rachel, Charles, MeiLing, JunQing, BiLin, YYH (Yoke Hiong) & DingSheng
Congratulations to everyone who had survived cycling for more than 5 hours around Pulau Ubin on Saturday. Apart from the chain that came off OuYang & WuNan's double bicycle and the sole that came off from MeiLing's sandal, everything went smooth! Many thanks to those who organised. :)

Dinner gathering (CTSS)
Photo (from left): HuiYin, ShuJun, myself, NgaipHui, Nancy, XueHua & FredDespite the initial mixed up of which Waruku outlet to go to at Marina Square, we made it to dinner at Marina Waruku at first level, just opposite Pan Pacific Hotel. I tried the Potato Mentai (pickled cod roe) out of curiousity. Serving was pretty small for S$8.80 but it tasted good with the hot cheese on top of it. I received a book 'Wood: Houses & Interiors' published by PageOne and a bottle of fragrance 'Baby Doll' that comes in a music box by YSL. Stuff that will surely come in useful. It is amazing how everything (people in this instance) became part of our lives - the people who know your 'quirks and twists'. Will surely miss these people.

Amazing grace
A true friend would be the one who would risk what you think of him, even to tell you the most 'foolish' news in order to 'save your soul';
The one true friend did the most 'foolish' to give His life for the ones who would mock Him. The grac-iousness we exercise was what this 'foolish' man have started.
How amazing this grace modelled and practised for generations - knowingly, and unknowingly! We just want to pass it on!

勇敢
Ah Mei's Song: 勇敢 (released June 2003)
seems to relate more now than when I first heard the song.
